PresentationPPT is built and run by Ashesh Dhakal, an independent developer in Winnipeg, Canada. It is not a company with a team behind it. It is one person and a well-tested export pipeline.
Why it exists
Every AI presentation tool produces something that looks correct in its own preview. The interesting question is what happens when you open the download in desktop PowerPoint, and the answer is very often: text over the edges, charts that turn out to be images, a slide size that is not 16:9, or a repair dialog.
Those are file-level problems with file-level causes, and they are fixable if you do the work before writing the file rather than hoping the recipient's copy of PowerPoint sorts it out. That is the entire premise of this product. The reasoning is written up in why AI-generated decks break in PowerPoint.
How the claims here are tested
Every quantitative claim on this site comes from a measured run rather than an estimate. Decks are generated through the production pipeline, exported, rendered through LibreOffice, and every text frame is compared against the box it was declared in. The most recent run covered 30 decks and 1,122 text frames.
Where the results were unflattering they are published too — 24 of 30 decks hit the requested slide count exactly, and the other six did not.

The technical stack, briefly
- Slide content is generated by a large language model against a fixed, measured layout contract.
- Text is measured server-side against Carlito, which is metric-compatible with Calibri, before the file is written.
- Charts are emitted as native PowerPoint chart objects with an embedded worksheet.
- A rendering gate runs on every build and fails it if any text frame overflows.
